ReplyDeleteThis is a great topic. I know most of our classmates are in the job searching stage anyways, so to know there are jobs out there that pertain to our interest in social media, as well as something we do on a daily basis. I am definitely open to jobs in the social media department. Also I think we can bring our experience from this course to any career we find upon graduation. Social media knowledge is very valuable in the workforce at any type of organization.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting post!! That is actually amazing news for us! We chose the best field for our career! I’m also very interested in working in social media. What a good job staying online on Facebook, blogs, LinkedIn… all those social media websites all day! I was very attracted by marketing but since I am studying social media marketing, I first discovered that we could actually work on it and I really love it. It is a field that is constantly changing so you don’t have time to get bored because there is always something new to say or to read.
ReplyDeleteGlad you did your post over this!! I think this will open up a lot of doors for marketing majors who enjoy social media. Since I have enrolled in this class I've found that several more companies are putting thought into their social media tools. In order to keep up and be successful in social media you need to hire someone full-time. This helps with keep the name of the company up to date at all times.
